OFWs in Thailand: Read the BKK-PE Advisory on COMELEC’s Virtual Frontline Services (VFS) for Overseas Voting Registration:
In light of the COVID-19 situation in Thailand and in adherence to the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ strict directive to have a full work from home policy, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand encourages the Filipino community to take advantage of the recently launched Virtual Frontline Services (VFS) of the COMELEC – Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV) to be registered as an overseas voter before the closing of the registration period on 30 September 2021.
Overseas Filipino voters with existing voter registration records with COMELEC will be able to process the following applications:
● Registration (Certification)
● Reactivation
● Updating of records
● Transfer of voting records
Those applying for transfer of voting records from Thailand to a Philippine Municipality/City/District may do so not later than 31 August 2021 as stated in Rule III Section 4 of COMELEC Resolution 10619.
To avail of the COMELEC online service, applicants may file their requests through any of the following means:

Upon prior determination by COMELEC, those who need to visit the Embassy for biometric capture to complete the overseas registration process may request for appointment by sending an email to bangkokpe.election@gmail.com and attaching a copy of an endorsement from the COMELEC-OFOV stating the need for in-person registration at the Embassy.
Please note that walk-in applicants will not be entertained in keeping with physical distancing requirements to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
