Lampang, Thailand. The Filipino spirit of sharing is very much alive in Thailand as the Filipinos in Lampang held an outreach activity on Sunday, July 17, 2022.
The Lampang Filipino Community, headed by its current community president, Amanda Jiratanasopha, donated cash for the driveway renovation of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish church in Lampang.
Fr. Andres Felipe Jaramillo Gutierrez, M.X.Y., the church parish priest, received the cash donation and thanked the Filipino community for its generosity and kindness.
Meanwhile, the Pinoy community also extended cash aid to a Buddhist monk in Lampang.
The community spokesperson, Mr. William Mambil, said the funds for the outreach activity came from the members.
“The fund we used was from the membership fee from our members, and we also received donations from our kind and generous members,” he said.
