The candidates for Miss International Queen 2022 showcased their national costumes on Monday, June 20 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Fuschia Ravena, Miss International Queen Philippines, wore an ensemble designed by Cary Santiago.
Santiago drew inspiration for the national costume from Santa Cruzan, an annual religious tradition in the Philippines held in the month of May, where Filipina women take part in a procession wearing beautiful gowns and dresses.

And as the Philippines (specifically Cebu where Fuschia hails from), just recently celebrated its Quincentennial Commemoration (500 years) of the Magallanes-Elcano Expedition, the best way to pay tribute to this momentous event is by honoring one of the traditions we have been practicing, that stood not just in the worse, but most importantly, in the best of times!
