KhruPhTiktokers has crowned its first Ginoong Tiktok king after a weeklong virtual pageant that aims to promote mental health awareness and provide creative platform among Pinoy OFWs in Thailand.
Marco Rac Orbegoso, 25, a teacher from Suphanburi, won the crown after a grueling live interview on Saturday, July 10 besting other nine Filipino tiktokers coming from different provinces of Thailand. He was also named Best in Talent and Best in Advocacy Video.
As a sports enthusiast, Obregosa believes that physical health is as important as mental health. He plays volleyball and he works out during his spare time. His passion includes dancing, photography and fashion.
Ginoong Tiktok Runners Up
Early favorite Pol Kirby Viloria, a Phitsanulok-based English teacher won First Runner-Up. At the final interview, when asked whether should we spend more time with: gadget or people, Viloria answered he wants to spend more time with gadget rather than people to adhere to the health protocols imposed during this pandemic. Viloria also won Best in Casual Wear.
Aside from being teacher and a content creator in Tiktok, Kirby also accepts modeling jobs at the sides.
Meanwhile, teacher-assistant from Nakhon Rachasima, Romel Habal clinched 2nd Runner Up. He also won Best in Formal Wear award.
Romel Habal has a degree in hospitality management and ultimately dreams of becoming a flight attendant.
Ginoong Tiktok Hopefuls
The other 7 candidates include: John Garcia Viray, Bangkok; Aron Van Cleo Mascarinas, Mahanakhon; Rangel Intong, Suphanburi; John Ray Camposano, Loi Province; Ian Dave Aguirre, Phitsanulok; Richard Zhang, Nonthaburi; and Hajie Idmilao.
The Selection Committee
The selection committee of Ginoong Tiktok 2021 was comprised of professional photographer Mr. JM Ferrer, fashion designer Ivanka Hipolito and comedy content creator, influencer and brand endorser Mr. Nap Lorica.
