Miss International Queen 2022 is Miss Philippines

The Philippines’ Fuschia Ann Ravena was crowned Miss International Queen 2022 on Saturday, June 25 in Pattaya, Thailand, besting other candidates from 22 countries and delighting Filipinos worldwide,

Ravena edged out first runner-up Jasmine Jimenez of Colombia and second runner-up Aëla Chanel of France. She succeeds Valentina Fluchaire, Miss International Queen 2020 from Mexico.

During the top 3 question and answer portion, the finalists were asked about the pageant’s advocacy and teaching equality if they won the competition .

Ravena stated that her main goal is to persuade others to promote harmony and peace, adding that love is a global language.

Miss International Queen 2022 winning answers

“I will start it by influencing other people to spread love, peace and unity to have world equality because after all we live under one sky. And we breath the same air. And we all live from differences where love is universal,” Ravena said.

Before making it to the top 3, the Pinay bet impressed the judges and drew cheers from the audience when she talked about the value of being a transgender queen in society.

“To be a transgender queen is to inspire other people and to do good things to everyone. Because I always think that the most beautiful asset of being a human and being a transwoman is not just a head full of knowledge. It should be the heart full of love and respect, and ear that is ready to listen and a hand that is willing to help other people,” she stated.

Miss International Queen 2022, Fuschia Ann Ravena is the third Filipina to win the contest, billed as the world’s largest and most popular pageant for transgender women, after Kevin Balot (2012) and Trixie Maristela (2015).
