Thailand on Sunday has breached the 600,000 mark of Covid-19 infections following a total of 18,027 new cases reported on Sunday.
The total tally of Covid-19 cases in the kingdom is now at 615,314 since the pandemic started early last year.
In its latest bulletin, the Public Health Ministry said the total number of people who has recovered from the Covid-19 illness also increased by 13,402 to 405,322.
The kingdom’s Covid-19 death toll also climbed to 4,990 with 133 new fatalities.
Of the confirmed new cases, 17,653 instances were reported in the general population, with 374 cases among convicts.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, July 31, Thailand recorded the following Covid-19 data:
- New cases: 18,912
- Total cases: 597,287
- New deaths: 178
- Total deaths: 4,857
- Total Recoveries: 391,920
