THAILAND. The Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Thailand Chapter is going to crown its first ever “Ginoo at Binibining Maharlika 2022” to celebrate “Buwan ng Wikang Filipino” in August.
The pageant is open to all single Filipino workers in Thailand, aged 21 to 35 years old.
“The goal of the pageant is to inspire and motivate young OFWs, both men and women, to come forward and be recognized for who they are,” Giel Edward Orillosa, PFP OFW Thailand chairperson, said in a statement. “We want them to realize that they are independent, strong-willed, and capable young Pinoys who can accomplish anything.”
“This is also to encourage them to value their personal achievements, create new accomplishments and get involved in the Filipino community activities here in Thailand,” Orillosa added.
The candidates for “Ginoo at Binibining Maharlika” will compete in different categories, to wit; production number, talent portion, formal evening wear (Philippine national costume), and interview.
Ginoo at Binibining Maharlika 2022 prizes
Exciting prizes await the pageant winners.
Ginoong Maharlika 2022 will receive 4,000 baht in cash, along with a plaque, a ring and necklace, a sash, and a certificate. The first runner up will take home 2,000 baht in cash , a sash, a certificate and beauty products from sponsors. The second-runner up will walk away with 1,500 baht in cash, a certificate, and beauty products.
Meanwhile, the crowned Binibining Maharlika 2022 will take home 4,000 baht in cash, a plaque, a pair of earrings and a necklace, a sash and a certificate. The first and second runners up will receive 2,000 and 1,500 baht in cash, respectively, along with a sash, certificates, and beauty products from sponsors.
The coronation night of the Ginoo at Binibining Maharlika 2022 is on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Nonthaburi Palace Hotel in Nonthaburi province.
Registration is free. The committee will accept applications until August 12 only.
