BANGKOK, Thailand. An English teacher and popular Tiktok star was arrested in Bangkok yesterday and charged with having sex with a minor and recording the acts.
Luke Nathanael Rockwell, a teacher from the United States was arrested near Phra Khanong Canal yesterday.
According to police, he admitted to the charges against him and was turned over to the Khlong Tan police station.
His arrest was the result of a complaint filed with the police’s Women and Children’s Welfare division by the mother of a 16-year-old girl.
The suspect and the victim had known each other for about five months, according to the complaint, and the suspect has a recording of their sexual encounter.
Police launched an investigation and requested that the Southern Bangkok Criminal Court issue an arrest warrant for him.
